9-8 Weeks
- Decide which office furnishings and equipment are being moved to the new location.
- Measure the larger furnishings and office equipment to make sure they will fit into the new location.
- Check for accessibility at all entrances at the new location.
- Call and schedule a visual estimate with an EVL representative.
- If necessary, contact third parties for large safes and disassembly/assembly of cubicles.
7-6 Weeks
- Create a map of the new location displaying the layout for furnishings and office equipment.
- Contact the building managers to determine the hours of accessibility and reserve elevators if necessary.
- Reserve parking permits for one or both locations.
5-4 Weeks
- If doing your own packing order packing supplies from EVL
- Begin packing non-essential items
3-2 Weeks
- Begin packing desk materials and filing cabinets
- Keep all keys in a safe place
1 Week-Last Minute
- Remove ink cartridges from printers and copiers
- Pack computers and office equipment (in original boxes if possible)
